Using mixed media I created an image showing the contrast between the colorful Birds of Paradise and the birds you see around your home. To heighten the contrast I put each bird in a natural seeming environment. The Bird of Paradise is surrounded by tropical flowers while the crow like bird is surrounded by oak leaves. Mixed media was an interesting way of working and one I really enjoyed.
